Soaked Oatmeal

Ingredients
  • 1/2cup rolled oatsold fashioned, not quick cooking or instant
  • 1/4cup dried cranberriesyou can also substitute other dried (not fresh) fruit or seeds or nuts
  • 1cup waterplus 1/4 cup for plumping up dried fruit
  • 1/2Tablespoon vinegarlemon juice or whey will also work
  • 1-2Tablespoons buttermore is better
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a pot and let sit for 8-12 hours.
  2. Cook on medium-high until water is all absorbed, about 5 minutes.
